As a Senior Product Designer, I partnered closely with engineers and our motion design team to create a dynamic ending to the DIY tax filing experience that would boost customer confidence.

Research showed that many customers were unsure if they filed their taxes correctly, experienced confusion, misunderstood their tax outcomes, and doubted whether TurboTax would meet their needs in the future.

I designed a post-file experience that simplifies tax data into understandable segments, celebrates customers' efforts, and provides a clear link to a tax calculator for future planning.

The tax filing experience evolved from confusing false endings, loops, and unanswered questions to a highly personalized and engaging experience that clearly explains the customer’s tax outcome in a fun and dynamic way.
